What’s next for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic?
On Sunday at the 2018 World Cup, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic should be involved as Serbia take on Costa Rica.
Milinkovic-Savic is one of the hottest names in world football right now after a brilliant campaign with Lazio.
Last season the 23-year-old Milinkovic-Savic scored 14 goals in all competitions. He also chipped in with nine assists in 48 appearances for Lazio.
There have been suggestions that suitors for Milinkovic-Savic will have to pay upwards of 100 million euros to sign him.

Man United vs Real Madrid
Manchester United are rumoured to be in the Milinkovic-Savic market.
However, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport on Sunday, Man United’s hopes of signing the Lazio star are receding.
That’s because Real Madrid have jumped to the front of the line for the Serbian star.
CdS place a 150 million euro price tag around Milinkovic-Savic’s head.
Crucially, the Italian paper announce that a meeting between the player’s agent, Mateja Kezman, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will take place next week.
Real Madrid are prepared to offer Milinkovic-Savic a long-term contract worth eight million euros a season.
Will Man United try to match that offer?

What about Juventus?
Interestingly, Tuttosport also feature Milinkovic-Savic on their front page.
They link the midfielder with a possible move to Juventus this summer.

Bad news for Liverpool
Corriere dello Sport also have another transfer update regarding Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Roma’s Brazilian goalie Alisson has been linked with a move to Anfield during recent months.
But Liverpool’s hopes of closing that deal now seem remote as Real Madrid have taken the lead.
CdS believe that it’s “only a matter of days” before Alisson’s move to Real Madrid is confirmed.
Los Blancos, of course, have recently appointed Julen Lopetegui as their new manager.
