Unai Emery & Jack Wilshere
The Sunday Times recycle a transfer rumour this weekend regarding Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
According to the broadsheet, it’s beginning to seem certain that Wilshere will leave Arsenal this summer.
The 26-year-old midfielder is under contract with the Gunners until July 1, 2018.
Last season Wilshere made 40 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions. Yet only 20 of those appearances came in the Premier League as Wilshere struggled to lock down a first team place.
Wilshere has repeatedly stated his desire to remain at Arsenal. He’s grown up at the club having progressed through the youth system.
However, in the Sunday Times it’s been reported that new Arsenal boss Unai Emery has basically shown Wilshere the door:
Jack Wilshere’s time at Arsenal appears to be up after discussions with the club’s new manager, Unai Emery, did not go as well as the midfielder would have liked.
It is believed Emery told Wilshere, 26, that he would be a fringe player. Wilshere was close to agreeing a new deal with the club he joined as a nine-year-old.

Everton vs Wolves
Two clubs in the race to sign Wilshere are Everton and Wolves.
Everton, of course, have conducted recent business with Arsenal after Theo Walcott moved to Goodison Park last January.
There are also rumours at Everton about Morgan Schneiderlin’s ongoing future at the Toffees. Is Wilshere the right replacement if the Frenchman leaves this summer?
As for Wolves, the Premier League newbies are intent on buying new players this summer as they aim to stay in the top flight.
The Sunday Times also list West Ham as another possible Wilshere suitor.
The Hammers could have the edge as Wilshere would be able to stay in London were he to join the Irons.
