Mohamed is fit. Short, sweet, straight to the point and a huge boost for Egypt as they are preparing to take on Russia on Tuesday.
Road to the World Cup
Egypt began their journey to the 2018 World Cup by topping group E of the CAF qualifiers.
Egypt shared a group with Uganda, Ghana and Congo with Egypt playing six, winning four, drawing one and losing one.
And surprise, surprise, Salah would be Egypt’s star man and finish the qualifiers with 5 goals, the joint highest out of every African side.
Egypt were then drawn in Group A of the 2018 World Cup along with hosts Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
However, Egypt’s World Cup campaign did not get off to the best start.
Salah did not feature in their opening game vs Uruguay and Gimenez would score an 89th-minute winner for Uruguay that meant Egypt lost their first game of the 2018 World Cup.
As a result, Egypt will likely have to win their remaining two games if they want to stand any chance of making it out of their group.
So, their match with Russia this coming Tuesday is a must win and luckily for Egypt, Salah looks set to be fit for the clash.

Super season
Salah comes into the 2018 World Cup on the back of a simply outstanding season for Liverpool.
In 52 games in the 2017/18 season, Salah scored a ridiculous 44 goals and also got an impressive 19 assists.
This saw the Egyptian finish the Premier League’s top scorer and also guide Liverpool to a Champions League final.
So, Egypt will be hoping Salah can have a similar effect on them when he makes his first appearance of the World Cup vs Russia.
