Leganes manager Javier Aguirre has claimed that La Liga's 2019/20 season will return on 20 June. As with the vast majority of football leagues across Europe, Spain's top flight was postponed until further notice back in March. The Premier League and Serie A are hoping to complete their seasons once it is deemed safe to do so, and La Liga are aiming to do likewise as a host of proposals are put into place to see the season out.
